1. Scope
This Market Rules & Resolution Policy applies only to markets, event pages, contracts, or similar products that expressly state they are operated, administered, or resolved by Polyranger (“Polyranger Markets”). If a market, contract, or position is offered, operated, settled, or resolved by a third party, the third party’s own rules govern, even if the market is displayed, linked to, ranked, or described on Polyranger.2. Market listings and rule hierarchy
Each Polyranger Market should identify, where applicable:- the market question or proposition;
- the possible outcomes;
- the resolution source or sources;
- the scheduled expiration or observation time;
- any special conditions or clarification notes; and
- any applicable payout, redemption, or settlement mechanics.
- any express market-specific rule shown on the relevant Polyranger Market page;
- any clarification or administrative notice issued by Polyranger for that market;
- this Market Rules & Resolution Policy; and
- the Terms & Conditions.
3. Market creation and edits
Polyranger may list, decline to list, edit, suspend, relist, combine, separate, or remove markets at its discretion. Before a market resolves, Polyranger may correct clerical errors, spelling issues, formatting issues, broken links, incorrect labels, or obvious mistakes, and may issue clarifications to improve precision or interpretability, provided that such action is taken in good faith and does not unfairly prejudice users relative to the intended meaning of the original market.4. Resolution principles
Polyranger will seek to resolve Polyranger Markets in good faith, consistently with the market text, the stated source hierarchy, and the apparent commercial intent of the market. Where a specific resolution source is identified, that source will ordinarily control. If the identified source is unavailable, materially unclear, contradictory, corrupt, or no longer fit for purpose, Polyranger may use a reasonable substitute source or combination of sources.5. Clarifications and ambiguities
Polyranger may publish clarifications before or after trading begins to address ambiguity, timing, source issues, or edge cases. Clarifications form part of the applicable market rules once published. If an ambiguity cannot be cured fairly, Polyranger may suspend, void, or cancel the market.6. Market suspension, voiding, and cancellation
Polyranger may suspend, void, unwind, or cancel a market or specific activity if, in its reasonable judgment:- the market question is materially ambiguous or defective;
- the identified source is unavailable, corrupted, or unreliable;
- a market was listed in error;
- there is evidence of manipulation, fraud, abuse, insider misuse, or collusion;
- a technical issue materially affected fairness, pricing, availability, or settlement;
- legal or regulatory concerns arise;
- an underlying event is cancelled, abandoned, or materially transformed; or
- extraordinary circumstances make ordinary resolution inappropriate.
7. Timing of resolution
Resolution may occur after the relevant event or observation window and after Polyranger has had a reasonable opportunity to review the applicable sources and any relevant disputes, corrections, or operational issues. Polyranger is not obligated to resolve immediately upon the apparent occurrence of an event.8. Disputes and review
Polyranger may, but is not required to, provide a dispute window or review process. If a dispute mechanism is offered, the relevant market page or product terms may specify timing, eligibility, and procedure. Polyranger may reject disputes that are incomplete, abusive, repetitive, untimely, or unsupported. Unless local law requires otherwise, Polyranger’s final good-faith resolution or administrative determination will be conclusive.9. Third-party data and source dependency
Polyranger may rely on public reports, official publications, exchanges, data feeds, APIs, or other external sources to determine outcomes or display market content. Polyranger is not responsible for errors, delays, outages, or corrections made by those third-party sources, but may respond to such issues by delaying, correcting, voiding, or re-resolving a market where fair and appropriate.10. Corporate actions, postponed events, and exceptional circumstances
If an event is postponed, rescheduled, materially changed, split into multiple events, or affected by force majeure, legal intervention, fraud, or corruption, Polyranger may determine in good faith whether to:- keep the market open;
- suspend the market pending clarification;
- amend the market terms to reflect the changed circumstances; or
- void or cancel the market.
11. Third-party markets
For clarity, where Polyranger merely displays, aggregates, links to, compares, ranks, or routes users toward a Third-Party Service:- the third party, not Polyranger, is responsible for listing, market creation, wording, pricing, matching, custody, execution, suspension, disputes, resolution, settlement, and payouts;
- Polyranger may display summaries or copied metadata for convenience only;
- if Polyranger’s display differs from the third party’s official market rules or records, the third party’s official materials control; and
- Polyranger is not liable for losses arising from any third-party market or rule.
