This Risk Disclosure & Third-Party Services Disclaimer highlights important risks associated with using the Services. It is not exhaustive and does not describe every possible risk. This document applies to both Polyranger-Operated Services and Third-Party Services accessed through or in connection with the Services. However, where a risk arises from a Third-Party Service, that risk is borne by you and the relevant third party, not by Polyranger, unless Polyranger expressly assumes responsibility in product-specific terms.2. No guarantee of profit or performance
Prices, probabilities, rankings, commentary, and analytics may change quickly and unpredictably. Past performance, historical prices, market popularity, or past accuracy do not guarantee future outcomes. You may lose some or all amounts committed, paid, posted, transferred, or otherwise exposed in connection with a market, position, account, wallet, subscription, or related activity.3. Event-market and prediction-product risks
Event-based products, prediction markets, and similar instruments may involve:- binary or discrete outcomes, where a position can become worth zero;
- market wording or source ambiguity;
- unexpected event changes, postponements, cancellations, or force-majeure events;
- disputes over resolution sources or outcome interpretation;
- voiding, cancellation, or administrative intervention; and
- legal uncertainty regarding classification, availability, or enforceability in your jurisdiction.
4. Liquidity and execution risk
Even if a market is visible, there may be insufficient liquidity to enter, exit, hedge, close, or unwind a position on acceptable terms or at all. Orders may fail, be rejected, be partially filled, experience slippage, or be cancelled. Quoted prices, charts, implied probabilities, and historical statistics may not reflect executable pricing.5. Resolution, oracle, and settlement risk
A market’s outcome may depend on rule interpretation, an identified source, an administrative process, a third-party operator, a dispute process, or a blockchain oracle. Resolution may be delayed, disputed, reversed, or ultimately determined in a manner different from your expectations. If a market or service is operated by a third party, that third party’s rules control, and Polyranger is not responsible for the resulting outcome, payout, redemption, or loss.6. Third-party service risk
Where the Services link to, display, embed, route to, or integrate with Third-Party Services, you face risks that are outside Polyranger’s control, including:- platform outages or downtime;
- business failure, insolvency, fraud, or misconduct by a provider;
- refusal to onboard or allow access;
- unilateral changes to fees, terms, market rules, or eligibility rules;
- poor execution, failed settlement, delayed withdrawals, or custody failures;
- hacks, key compromise, wallet drains, bridge failures, and smart-contract exploits; and
- inaccurate, stale, incomplete, or misleading third-party content or data.
7. Digital asset, stablecoin, wallet, and blockchain risk
If any feature involves digital assets, stablecoins, wallets, smart contracts, or public blockchains, you assume additional risks, including:- private-key loss or compromise;
- wallet software bugs or signing errors;
- network congestion, chain reorganization, validator failures, MEV, forks, or bridge disruptions;
- stablecoin de-pegging, freezing, blacklisting, issuer intervention, or redemption restrictions;
- irreversible transactions and inability to recover mis-sent assets;
- smart-contract vulnerabilities, upgrade failures, or governance attacks; and
- public visibility of on-chain activity.
8. Legal, tax, and regulatory risk
Laws relating to event-based trading, digital assets, financial services, sanctions, gambling, gaming, and consumer protection differ by jurisdiction and may change rapidly. A service that appears accessible today may become restricted tomorrow. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use is legal and suitable for you and for understanding any reporting, licensing, registration, or tax obligations that may apply.9. Data, analytics, and model risk
Polyranger may provide charts, rankings, market summaries, implied probabilities, alerts, commentary, research, or analytics derived from first-party or third-party data. That information may contain errors, omissions, delays, stale values, or methodological limitations. Automated models, labels, and summaries can be wrong. Data displays are not a substitute for reviewing primary rules, sources, and third-party documentation.10. Technology and cybersecurity risk
The Services may be affected by bugs, connectivity failures, API outages, infrastructure incidents, denial-of-service attacks, account takeovers, phishing, malware, and other cybersecurity threats. No platform can guarantee uninterrupted access or perfect security.11. No advice and independent judgment
Polyranger does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, gambling, or regulatory advice. You must make your own decisions, conduct your own diligence, and, where appropriate, consult your own professional advisers.12. Suitability and responsibility
By using the Services, you acknowledge that:- you understand and accept the risks described here and in the Terms & Conditions;
- you are solely responsible for assessing whether a service or transaction is suitable for you;
- you will not rely on Polyranger as your fiduciary, adviser, agent, or counterparty unless Polyranger expressly agrees otherwise in writing; and
- losses can be substantial, immediate, and unrecoverable.
